Crafting with journaling lu

 Journal Page 29/04/2021 I stamped Paperartsy stamp TS056 in Versa Mark Embossing Ink and sprinkled Sweet Dixie Embossing Powder in Mirror Gold and heated it with my heat gun. I then coloured in the flowers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Candied Apple and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet with blending brushes. I then painted around the flower with Black Gesso, and put a quote from Jenine’s Mindful Art Collection ‘YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS STORM’.  Journal Page 28/04/2021 I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed and Ripe Persimmon with a blending brush. I then used Paperartsy Stencil PS226 with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot. I then used Black Soot around the edges. I then drew round the purple leaves with a Tombow pen in N15. I got another piece of card and stamped Paperartsy stamp TS056 with Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black and I coloured it in with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Mustard Seed. I cut out the flower and glued it down in the centre.  Journal Page 27/04/2021 I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet around the edges. I then used Paperartsy Stencil PS242 with the same colours. I then stamped Paperartsy stamp in TS056 with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black and used Tombow pen in N15 to colour in the centres of the flowers.  Journal Page 26/04/2021 I painted the page with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Coral. I got a piece of white card and  stamped Paperartsy stamp ETS40 with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black. I then coloured them in with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Cracking Campfire, Spiced Marmalade, and Mowed Lawn with a blending brush. I cut them out and glued them down. I then got a piece of white card and drew a face and I used my Polychromos in Cream, Dark Cadmium Yellow and Raw Umber for the skin, Rose Carmine and Pompeian Red for the lips, Venetian Red, Brunt Ochre and Walnut Brown for the eyes, and Brunt Ochre and Walnut Brown for the hair, and went over it all with Pencil Blend. I then went round it with a Black Fine liner. I then cut it out and glued it down. I got a piece of white card and drew round Paperartsy stencil PS242 and I cut it out with a Craft Knife and painted it with Black Gesso. I glued down on one side and placed it on the page.  Journal Page 25/04/2021 I got a piece of white card and stamped Paperartsy stamp TS056 six times o then cut them out and used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Mermaid Lagoon. I used two colours on each flower, I then cut them in half and glued them down. I then went round the edges and around the flowers with dots using my White Posca pen.  Journal Page 24/04/2021 I got a piece of white card and drew round Paperartsy Stencil PS242 and cut it out with a craft knife and I painted both sides with Black Gesso. I then painted the page with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Teresa Green. I got a piece of white card and stamped Paperartsy stamp TS056, I coloured in the flowers in with my Polychromos in Mauve and Middle Purple Pink and the leaves in Leaf Green and Light Green. I cut them out and glued them down. I then put a piece of double sided tape on one side of the black piece of card and taped it down.  Journal Page 23/04/2021 I went around the edges of the page with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Kitsch Flamingo with a blending brush, I got a piece of white card and stamped Paperartsy stamp TS056 in Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, I coloured the flowers in with my Polychromos in Deep Scarlet Red, Dark Cadmium Orange, and Cadmium Yellow, and the leaves in Magenta and Dark Phthalo Green, I went over all of it with Pencil Blend. I then cut them out and glued them down. I added a quote from Jenine’s Mindful Art Collection ‘BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF’. I then used Paperartsy Stencil PS242 with White Gesso and a piece of Cut n Dry. I then used Paperartsy stencil PS226 with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Lawn and a piece of Cut n Dry, and I went round it with my Polychromo in Black. I then stamped Paperartsy stamp in TS056 in Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, I coloured them in with my Polychromo in Cobalt Green and Light Yellow Glaze and I went over it with Pencil Blend.  Journal Page 21/04/2021 I put IZINK Spray in Cerise on the glass mat and dabbed the page, and dried it with my heat gun. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Ripe Persimmon I put it on the glass mat and sprayed it with water and dabbed the page into it, and dried it with my heat gun. I then used Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Banana, I mixed it with water and dabbed the page in to it, I then dried it with my heat gun. I then used Paperartsy stamp JOFY93 with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, and stamped it randomly on the page. I then used Kuretake in No.91 and painted swirls, I then went around the swirls with my Arteza Real Brush Pen in Noir. I then used Julie Hickey Be Happy Stamp Set with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, on a piece of white card and I put that on a piece of double sided sticky sheet and put it on the page. I then drew a side view face on each side of the page and I covered it with masking tape and used Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Purple Wine, Blue Lagoon, and Caribbean Sea. I then used Paperartsy Stencil PS210 and PS198 with Black Gesso with a piece of Cut n Dry and I then went over it with a White Posca pen. I then got a piece of card and put Paperartsy PS198 over it and went round it with a pencil and I cut it with a Craft Knife and painted it with Black Gesso. I then stamped Jane Davenport DIY Face with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, I then used Tim Holtz Distress Crayon in Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, and Wilted Violet and smudged it all around the face.  Journal Page 11/04/2021 I drew a bird on a branch and coloured it in with Imagination Crafts Starlight Metallic Paint in Rich Gold and Bronze, I also used my Polychromos in Leaf Green, Light Green, Cobalt Turquoise, Mauve and Magenta, and I blended them together with Pencil Blend. I then used Paperartsy Stencil PS188 with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Shabby Shutters. I then go a piece of card and I put Tim Holtz Distress Ink Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness and stamped Paperartsy ETS40 leaves with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black and glued them down. I then got a piece of card and put Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Candied Apple and Crackling Campfire and stamped Paperartsy ETS40 flower in Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black and I cut them out and glued them down.
