Crafting with journaling lu

 Journal Page 30/03/2021 I got some masking tape and cut it into strips and placed it on the page and made squares. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Crayon in Mustard Seed, Abandoned Coral, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Lucky Clover, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron all over the page. I then used Paperartsy JOFY36 with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black. I coloured the ‘JOURNAL’ in Tombow pen in N15 and i went around it with my White Posca pen.  Journal Page 29/03/2021 I used Tim Holtz Distress Crayon in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Rusty Hinge and drew blocks, I went over them with White Gesso. I then drew lines with Imagination Crafts Starlight Metallic Paint in Rich Gold with a paint brush. I used the White Gesso and drew circles with a paint brush.  Journal page 28/03/2021 I dry brushed Cosmic Shimmer Opal Polish in Golden Flamingo all over the page, I then painted White Gesso on the page leaving some of the Opal Polish. I then used Arteza Real Brush Pen in Noir and went round the Opal Polish.  Journal page 27/03/2021 I drew a face and painted the face with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Butternut mixed with White Gesso, and used Arteza Real Brush Pen in Noir, Coffee, Artic Blue, Night Blue Sky, and Cantaloupe, with Tombow pens in 761 and 620. I painted the background with Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Green Patina.  Journal Page 26/03//2021 I used one of my printed backgrounds and sprayed it with Izink Spray in Cerise and Izink Spray Finish Cuivre and dried it with my heat gun. I then used Paperartsy ETS40 with Versa Mark Embossing Ink and sprinkled Sweet Dixie Embossing Powder in Mirror Gold and heated it with my heat gun. I placed a quote on it from Jenine’s Mindful Art Collection’WE DO NOT REMEMBER DAYS, WE REMEMBER MOMENTS’.  Journal Page 25/03/2021 I finger painted Mont Marte Fluor Acrylic in Green, Blue, Orange, Red, and Yellow and then lightly went over it with a dry brush. I then stamped Paperartsy ETS40 in Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black. I then painted around the flowers with black gesso.  Journal Page 24/03/2021 I put Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Crushed Olive on the glass mat and sprayed it with water and dabbed the page on to it and i dried it with my heat gun, I did the same with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and put it on the glass mat and sprayed it with water and dabbed the edges of the the page in to it, and I dried it with my heat gun. I got a Tim Holtz Distress Crayon in Walnut Stain and when around the edges with it, smudging it as I went round the edges. I got Funky  Fossil stencil Brick Wall and used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo with a blending brush and then i used Funky Fossil stencil Beauty in Profile with the same ink. I then wrote ‘TRUE BEAUTY’ with my Tombow pen in N15 and when round it white a white pen.  Creating Backgrounds 2 I used my Gelli Plate with Golden Open Slow Drying Acrylics in Yellow Medium, Phthalo Blue (Green Shade), Anthraquinone Blue, Yellow Light, Phthalo Green (Blue Shade), Quinacridone Magenta, and Titanium White, with a brayer on deli paper. I mixed some of the colour with a rubber tip brush.  Journal Page 23/03/2021 I used one of the printed backgrounds and stamped a butterflies on it using Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black and cut them out. I then trimmed another background and glued the butterflies down one one side of the page, I then stamped the butterfly again using Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black on the other side of the page and coloured them in with Arteza Real Brush Pen in Electric Blue.  Creating Backgrounds 1 I used Paperartsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Ochre, Sargasso. Blood Orange, Purple Wine, Beach Hut, and Midnight with White Gesso. I placed the paints randomly and in different combinations on the Gelli Plate and used a Brayer to move the paints about.  Journal Page 22/03/2021 I stamped Jane Davenport DIY Face with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, I then drew an arrow underneath the face with a black pen, and covered it all with masking tape. I then put Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberry on the glass mat and sprayed it with water and dabbed the page in to it, I did the same with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon, and I dried it with my heat gun. I then stamped Jane Davenport Mandala stamp set in Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black randomly across the page. I then stamped American Crafts The Colour Of Memories and Vicki Boutin Stamp Set with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black on the page and on a piece of card, I then coloured in the leaves, flowers, and face using Arteza Real Brush Pen in Bright Green, Fuchsia, Ocean Blue, Cantaloupe, and Lemon Yellow.  Journal Page 21/03/2021 I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Mustard Seed, on the page with blending brushes. I then flicked water on then page and dried it with my heat gun.  Journal Page 20/03/2021 I drew out the quote ‘JUST BE YOU’ in pencil and went round it with Tombow pen in black, I then coloured it in with Tombow pen in 373 and Arteza Real Brush Pen in Electric Blue. I the cover the quote in masking tape and stamped American Crafts The Colour Of Memories and Vicki Boutin Stamp Set with Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black, and coloured it in with Arteza  Real Brush Pen in Electric Blue, Punch Pink, Bright Green, Fuchsia, Orange, and Noir.  Journal Page 18/03/2021 I used American Crafts The Colour Of Memories and Vicki Boutin Stamp Set with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, I coloured in the flowers and leaves with Arteza Real Brush Pen in Bright Green, Bumblebee Yellow, Honey, and Fuchsia. I then glued down the flowers and leaves.  Journal Page 16/03/2021 I covered the page with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mermaid Lagoon and Faded Jeans, I then used Funky Fossil Stencil Watercolour Lines with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain.
